Rules

The Rules are pretty simple really.

The server will commence as per our GPL Schedule. Things can go wrong on the internet, we will do our best so be patient.

These races are aimed at novice drivers. While all drivers are welcome to take part it is expected that experienced drivers will help the novices with any questions and whenever needed offer constructive advice.

Always - Be polite to other drivers, Don't use any bad language and remember that this racing is FREE, so don't abuse the privilege! (See Legal disclaimer)

When you first start racing on the Internet we want you to join in and just have fun, however you are expected to follow the behaviour outlined on our Driver Etiquette Page. Driver Etiquette is a set of guidelines for all people to follow so everyone can join and enjoy the races.

FLAGS: GPL has flag marshals located at different points around each circuit. The marshals display different coloured flags to advise the driver of different situations as outline in the chart below

Flag Meaning Action
Blue A car is approaching you from behind and may wish to pass. In races, the blue flag is only displayed if the car behind is one or more laps ahead of you. In races move over to allow the faster car to pass.
Held Yellow There is trouble ahead. Use caution and avoid passing.
Waving Yellow A more serious condition than a held yellow, usually involving the track being partially or completely blocked Use extreme caution and avoid passing.
Green After a yellow incident area, indicating that it is safe to race again. Race normally
White A slow-moving car ahead on the racing surface. This is usually a car that has suffered some sort of mechanical problem Race with caution.
Black You have violated a rule and must report to your pit for additional information. You MUST stop in the pits or be disqualified

If you have any questions ask any of the established drivers or email me here
