PREVIOUS EVENTS Once an event has been run and is no longer in active cycle, after 2 weeks from completion it is moved to our archive for storage and as a reference for future event ideas. Below is our archive of previous events: ASRG Inc Drivers Championship (Mar 2009 - Dec 2009) Format: Trophy Frequency: Sunday's Annual Membership Required: Yes Registration Required: No About: Encouraging cross event participation and drivers competing throughout the duration of a series, and participation in a diverse range of events and disciplines. GPL F2 Lites (Jan 2009 - Dec 2009) Format: Lites Series Frequency: Monday's Weekly Membership Required: No Registration Required: Yes About: Utilising the Advanced Trainer (F2) chassis available in Grand Prix Legends drivers take part in an ongoing 6 week series with open setups and short race distances. GPL Rookie Racing (Jan 2009 - Dec 2009) Format: Rookie Racing Frequency: Monday's Weekly Membership Required: No Registration Required: Yes About: A weekly organised session aimed at drawing new drivers into the world of Onine Sim Racing utilising the Grand Prix Legends Simulation. Grand Prix Legends Australian Championship X2 (Apr 2009 - Oct 2009) Format: Championship Title Frequency: Thursday's Fortnightly Membership Required: Yes Registration Required: Yes About: Utilising whats regarded as the grandaddy and best simulation ever written Grand Prix Legends (1967 Formula 1 Cars from the Jack Brabham era). Drivers in this series use open setups and compete in half GP race distances for the glory of becoming the GPLAC Champion. Make a choice of chassis each round to contest for line honours or earn bonus points in a unique non-chassis restricted bonus point system, designed to promote closer racing. GPL Grand Prix 1969 (May 2007 - Nov 2007) Format: Pro Series Frequency: Saturday's Fortnightly Membership Required: Yes Registration Required: No About: Using the Grand Prix Legends Sim and the 1969 version modification, Drivers in this series use open setups and compete in Full GP Race Distances. This series is for ASRG members, no sign-up is required just the club members password on Race Night. Races will be held fortnightly on the Saturday night immediately preceding the GPLAC on the following Thursday. You must be a member of the ASRG to participate in this Pro Series. Previous Champions include not only the quickest drivers around in Australia but also the World. This league has Trophies and Medals for the various category winners. If you are lucky enough to win this series, you are truelly a Master at Sim Racing and you will go down in Sim Racing History. You must be a member of the ASRG to participate in this Title Series.
