Caveats
The
following adjustments have been made in order that the
statistics best reflect the actual performances of the drivers, teams, etc and filter out certain anomalies from the system.
The rules about dropping a
number of a driver's or team's worst results don't apply to these statistics
pages. If you entered an event then your results are calculated into these
figures - subject only to the qualifications below.
Only those
races in which a driver actually took part are included in the
statistics. I.e. If there were 12 races in the season, a driver
only entered 6 and won 3 - his statistics would include a 50% win
rate, note a 25% rate.
If a driver
DNQ'd ( Did Not Qualify ) but was allocated a qualifying position
by the program, then that session does not figure in the driver's
qualifying statistics - E.g. to adversely affect their averages or
percentages. It's as if they didn't take part in the qualifying
event at all. Sometimes the program may simply fail to record a
driver's qualifying time and allocate them a position at the back
of the grid, through no fault of the driver.
If a driver
DNS'd ( Did Not Start ), meaning they had a qualifying position but
failed to start in the race, probably due to being disconnected
from the server through no fault of their own, then that race
doesn't figure in their race statistics - E.g. to adversely affect their averages or percentages. (
Points which may be given in any case are still tallied in their points totals however, which
is simply a historical record of fact ).
The statistics here only
include current season events.
