Round
8 Rumour Mill & Rant Lets start with D2 ….. Vinda Losers !!!! A one, two and
fourth, what a great result for this team, Keith wins it, David gets 3rd on
the grid. Now David just has to figure out how to start :) We cant have Keith win to many, did you see the size of his
race report? Ok Ill pick on myself,
LOL, in first fell off, with 11 to go … What a clutz…
<elbee> indeed Longers went boom, must have been the tow
from the almighty Coop on the back strait that made you over rev… I like to
think so ;) Oh dear another start line
infraction in D1, Someone else needs start line training… The ol'Ash
train mows them down again, or mows his team mate down again. Luke you need start line tips
(He’s slow in a Coop off the line) and finishing tips as well, maybe we need to give Ash some
tips on how to pass and NOT take out your mullet team mate …. |

Mid Term Report (after Round # 7) Lots to catch up
on, we are half way through the season, 7 races run and won. We have had some
outstanding results. And some interesting "incidents" Lets talk about
division two first, special mention goes to Greg Longfield
who has taken up the challenge of running a BRM for the full season and has
five D2 wins and one pole. There have been seven different poles in D2 but Longers has been very consistent and the BRM has proved
very reliable. Greg has taken the Mike and Joe
have also had good wins. Overall the racing in Division two has been close,
up the front, and clean with very few incidents. The backmarkers
have been great and I would like to congratulate Grant Moles on his 4th place
with a qual time of 9:01 and his fastest race lap
time of 9:01 he has finished the last 3 events and put in a great effort to
increase his GPL times. Division one has
featured Ash as the driver to beat, and Luke should be the driver doing the
beating, Interestingly enough Ash hasn’t won any of the feature races ie Over all this
season has proved that yes you can go out in a Lotus/ fastest car for the
track and you will do well, but Jack Colin and Reg
and Greg in D2 have shown, you can do well and have a load of fun in a
"slower" car. Overall Ash is
leading the Overall Championship with Luke a close second,
John Hille and Trevor Forster are even closer in
3rd with Jack Rod and Colin all within striking distance for 3rd. The Troy R plate
is being lead by John Hille with a gap over Jack
Sands in second and Rod and Colin not far behind. Open Team champions is a no contest this year Automated GPL Mullitia even though they only have two drivers competing they are out in front, James Hunt Mem. are a clear second |

Rumour Mill & Rant So what happened
to Paul Wintrip ??? He was hot to trot in Pre Qual, then…nada… I have often said that a lot of aliens
on GPL rank…just cant race ;) Marto started out HOT he PB'd
in race one…been a bit down hill since then….or has it..4th
then a last, then a 5th then a (don’t anticipate this, its not a last ) 4th, now you can anticipate it 3 dnf's, last in D1, a much more consistent effort :) Circus moves to Zandy and Ash makes up for his no race show in Spa, time to
make comment on Luke. LOL nice shift blame to Ash for your 390kmh hay maker … Then there was
the D2 race, where two team mates went head to head the one in front was
looking for a bit a dawdle with his "hooverin"
team mate behind running defence… Well it was full
on all the way to the finish and it took 2 days for my leg to stop feeling
sore… The Ash train
just rolls on…. And over… this is one of the funniest incidents I have ever
seen… Luke is winning last lap, last corner he is running a bit short of go
juice and what dose his team mate do??? The Ash train runs over the top of
Luke and Luke doesn't even finish, he is even in sight of the finish
line…round of applause… Silverfish the
Ash train is still rolling along, doesn't make pole but beats Luke to the finish .. That must smart Luke, seeing Ash ran the entire
race without sound… Rod seems to have made friends with Division 2 a
Cooper was seen going in circles, time and time again… at the same corner… at
the same corner… Reg had an amazing race…I think he
didn’t disco ;) And
this brings us to the Nurburgring… The Ash train
derails… and OMG Luke wins a race…why why why did he have to win Nurburgring???
Longers must be getting tired of winning by now,
pole and a win… |
